From a young age, Katlyn has been passionate about helping animals. Growing up in a military family meant moving frequently across the country with her four-legged friends, but she eventually ended up in Lubbock attending Texas Tech University. There, she earned an undergraduate degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Business Administration.

During her time there, she was a volunteer puppy raiser for a national service dog organization which further solidified her interest in working in animal rescue. Katlyn is particularly passionate about connecting animals with their ideal forever homes and has found that sharing photos and videos is a wonderful way to introduce people to animals they might not otherwise meet.

Katlyn and her husband have put roots down in Midland with their two beloved dogs, a border collie mix and a black lab mix who
join them on many hiking adventures.
